With the 6K RED DRAGON® sensor, you can capture over 9x more pixels than HD. Unrivaled detail and impressive native exposure eclipse 35mm film in both latitude and image density. Industry leading specs distinguish the EPIC DRAGON as a model for image innovation, helming the evolution of digital cinema technology.
The 70-200mm lens is a top-notch creator lens that delivers a better image quality than the original lens (before the revamp).
It has various features that will make the lens almost invaluable, including MSRP and full-frame corners at all focal lengths. There is a little amount of vignetting that is visible when the aperture is wide open. The lens delivers sharp contrast that will be beneficial to you if you take pictures outdoors. The lens is a significant improvement from the original and is a good buy if you want clean and sharp images without the need for excessive configurations.
The lens has no chromatic aberration (CA), another major improvement over the first version. The distortion levels on the lens are low, and it is completely gone at 90-95mm, although minor distortion permeates into 200mm. The aperture is a well-rounded eight blade that delivers great fore/background blur quality throughout the focal length range. The lens will help you create stronger blurry backgrounds and bright viewfinders to help your photos pop. This is another plus that makes this lens well suited for outdoor shoots. The 70-200mm will let you shoot studio quality images while you are outdoors.
The lens has a razor-sharp focus that locks on objects without the need for any adjustments. Flare is also limited to reduce the exposure to light and photograph scenes with perfect light balance. The lens is great for weddings, nature, outdoor, landscape, and other photo activities that require a steady zoom lens. The image stabilization allows you to take fantastic photographs without the need for a tripod or other supporting equipment. The ultrasonic motor ensures peak performance of the autofocus and seamless transition when in use. If you are not satisfied with the manual focus, you can override this using the manual focus control and adjust the focus to suit your needs.
This is a decent lens if you hope to get the best out of your outdoor photography. Although it costs quite a lot, it is a long-term investment that will pay you multiple times over. The lens comes with a padded case that helps protect your lens and acts as a carrier bag for easy transportation.
